I realized while reading this, that the thing that prevents me from doing this is the pressure of finishing the piece of the book. And finishing it fast. The longer it takes me, the more pressure I feel. So weird
Your better off reading two books a year, but reading them in a manner that allows you to go deeper in the weeds regarding the topic, and get knowledgeable about it, to the point of fluency in conversations.. The pressure is a modern day phenomenon where productivity is hyped to the point of feeling irritated if anything goes slow.. But all good things take time, and so will reading..
